What the School Expects of parents The school expects you as parents/carers will: - ensure that your children attend school regularly and punctually informing the school for the reason for absences as soon as possible. - support the school's code of conduct and discipline to ensure the smooth running of the school. - ensure that your children wear the correct school uniform. - work with the school to promote the ethos and aims. - positively support the efforts made by the teachers in the school. - help to promote hard work. - make every effort to participate in parents' evenings and on those occasions when the school is discussing progress, attainment or development of your children. - contact the school regularly and at an early stage to discuss any matters which might have a bearing on your child's progress, happiness or behaviour. - support the school in ensuring that any work your child needs to do at home is completed properly and returned to school on time. Only if we work together will our children develop to their full potential.
