DISCIPLINE/SCHOOL RULES

The school has adopted a set of rules which apply to all children:
We work hard.
We are polite.
We are honest.
We are tidy.
We always tell the truth.
We share with others.
We walk in school.
We listen to others.

We expect that all children will respond positively to our rules, which apply throughout each day.
The school praises good behaviour and actively seeks to find examples of good conduct, politeness etc.
Each teacher is responsible for the conduct of pupils during lesson time.

Before school and at playtimes, teachers are on duty on the playgrounds and/or field. The teachers on duty are there to monitor the conduct of all the children.

At lunch time we have a team of midday supervisors who are responsible for the overall control and discipline of all the children. The midday supervisors work under the direction of the Headteacher or, in his absence, the deputy Headteacher.

If the school experiences problems with a child which cannot readily be resolved, parents will be consulted and an appropriate course of action will be planned. If you feel that your child is the victim of bullying of any kind, please come straight to school so that the matter can be investigated.

We believe that the promotion of good behaviour, good manners and hard work is the shared responsibility of home and school. Together, we can make it happen!
