CHARGING POLICY

In principle, education is free to all pupils. However, there are a small number of exceptions:
1. A charge may be made for activities which take place after school hours.
2. Visits to Field Study Centres partly or wholly during school hours- charges for board and lodging only.
3. Music tuition provided through the Local Education Authority's peripatetic service.
4. Materials for baking and some practical lessons where parents wish to own the finished product.

Please note: In order to provide additional experiences which enhance the curriculum, we depend on voluntary contributions from parents. However, no child will be prevented from participating in these experiences because they cannot afford to pay.
