ATTENDANCE

If children are to gain the most from school, their attendance needs to be regular.

Punctual arrival at school ensures that a child does not miss essential teaching and learning time.

If we do not hear the reason for your child's absence we will contact you wherever possible, to monitor attendance.

Should your child be absent as a result of illness, please let your child's teacher know by sending an explanatory note or by telephoning school.

The school is required to keep a full record of all absences and must distinguish between those which are authorised and those which are unauthorised.
