JEWELLERY

WATCHES
Watches may be worn at school as they are useful to a child in her/his learning. However, the responsibility for a child's watch remains that of the individual child. During PE/Games/Swimming lessons, watches must be removed. On those occasions, the teacher in charge of the lesson will look after any watches which have been handed in for safe keeping.

No jewellery must be worn at school. The loss of any item of jewellery causes upset and the wearing of jewellery can constitute a hazard in certain activities.

PIERCED EARS
Where children have pierced ears, would parents please note that STUDS ONLY are to be worn in school.

Earrings are potential hazards and could contribute towards a child being injured.

PLEASE NOTE:
Children wearing studs must either remove them or have them covered with protective tape for every PE/Games and Swimming lesson.
