CONTACT WITH PARENTS
The school can only operate successfully on behalf of your children when home and school work closely together.
Please feel free to come to school to discuss any matter which has a bearing on your child's performance in school.
Don't leave it! Come straight away and there will always be someone to try and help.
We organise 'formal' parents’ evenings during the Autumn term at which you can discuss with your child's teacher how your child is settling in to the new class and help set targets for future progress.
We organise a second 'formal' consultation evening towards the end of the Spring term.
Towards the end of the Summer Term, you will receive a written annual report which summaries the year your child is about to complete. You will be given the opportunity to reply to the report and should you also wish to discuss the report with the class teacher this can be arranged on request.
During the course of the year, you will receive letters from school giving you information about a whole range of school matters including the topics your child will study each half term.
Teachers will welcome your help with various activities in the classroom, from hearing children read to helping with activities and baking. Let your child's class teacher know if you are available to help.
We will always contact you if we feel there is anything we need to share with you. Please let us know about any matter which may affect your child.
