WHARFEDALE VISIT
On Monday 27th September, our class went on a visit to Wharfedale. We went to do a River Study which involved measuring the depth and flow of the Hebden Beck.

An hour later a few soggy pairs of wellies made their way up the bank to change into fresh clothes.

We then enjoyed a one and a half hour walk following the River Wharfe back to Grassington. The falls at Linton were spectacular. Mr Whaley was an excellent guide and he stopped frequently en route to explain and describe how the river worked.

A big 'Thank You' to all the adults who came along with us.
