We have  begun this academic year with our annual residential trip to Low Mill.

We recently had coaches from Leeds Tykes into school to help us improve our rugby skills!

We have enjoyed painting our Van Gogh pictures. 

We have had a very busy term , which began with our residential trip to Low Mill in September.

In October we visited the National Mining Museum as part of our geography topic and together with the rest of the school really enjoyed our ARTs week. We focused on creation stories from around the World, in particular 'Dreamtime' from Australia.

On November 1st we were joined by NYBEP , who helped us to build giant structures from tetrahedrons. Our final structure ended up being 3 metres tall and we could all fit inside - the skills we have learnt will be useful when we plan and make our own structures based on the buildings of Ancient Greece.
